To understand branding , it is important to know what brand is  A brand is the idea or image of a specific product or service that consumers connect with, by identifying the name, logo, slogan, or design of the company who owns the idea or image. In this way, "b randing" is when that idea or image is marketed so that it is recognizable by more and more people,  and identified with a certain service or product when there are many other companies offering the same service or product.   How build  a brand Identity? Step 1. Analyze the company and the market:  How? SWOT analysis! What are  the company's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats? All this information will help you  to  determine what are the goals and the steps needed to reach your goals. 4 Basic rules to make a logo

Here the  4 steps that I follow when I start to design a logo Go clean and associative Always start with black over white background Use minimum curve points to extract maxium clean lines Try to make associative shapes Use basic shapes like square, circle or triangle Colors Use standard based CMYK or Pantone color scheme Less gradients is better, solid colors is great Check in grayscale do you still have the contrast 2 colors combination is good choise, 1 color is perfect! Print and web Adapt it to Corporate elements (business cards, folder, banners, etc,.) Check what would be the smallest size in order to keep a good visual perception Web execution (make a test with digital formats, banners for ads, avatars, mailing, etc,.) 1. Keep it simple. The idea is that people can read your contact details clearly. Don´t forget! Less is more. 2. Include just the basic info: Name, Job Title, phone number, website and e-mail. If you want to add more information as your services for example, use icons or infographics. 3. Do a design that fits with your brand! Use the logo and colours for your company. Keep the same brand´s image is the key. For the rest of the content use a clear or light typography (Eg. Calibri, Arial, Myriad, etc,). Just remember use one typography family, don´t mix them. If you need to make "highlights" play with the Regular and the Bold version or with the size. Finally, think about both sides, you don´t have to put more text on the back. You can use a texture, Infographics, photos, icons or just your logo! Check the following examples :)
